Three-tiered-soul

Three-tiered-soul

O my three tiered soul
Life, death, emptiness in womb and tomb
God, Son, and Holy Ghost

Sky full of stars roll roll roll
Blossoms of cherry and jasmine intoxicate the heavy wind of monsoon

The little girl with her eyes affixed to the moon asks her mother
who’s there spinning the loom

O my three-tiered-soul
Existence, extinction, origination
Known
Unknown
My soul is thirsty
My mind is mute
The senses of my consciousness cannot escape from this prison-hold

A drop of dew glisten like pearls under the first ray of the moon

A tune sad and forlorn comes out of the hollow hub of the sitar soon
Floating in the air of the melancholy noon

There by the side of my grave a group of daisy and daffodil stood
Guarding the spirits of the evil not to enter my rusted sunken cursed
tomb

O my, o my 3-tiered-soul
Singly I came
Singly I went
Singing the song of three penance fool

The school teaches us not to touch the toxic dust
Yet we heedless long and lust
Keep walking on the path of evil fuss
The faith of the virgin falter in sun
Marigolds weltering upon the steps of faith-fed-fern

Miracles of God never depart
Keep thy eyes open
Keep thy mind alert
Before long the time past present future spread her presents to
present to the progeny of darkness-drunken, light-laden births the
secret of the secrets that the sun hid in the other sun

O my three-tiered-soul
Prophets came
Prophets went
Still I remained faithless failed
Face to face the face that has no face to face!
