Ian McEwan’s latest novel, “Sweet Tooth,” is a part spy novel with romance and it’s a work of fiction about fiction!
The central character, Selena Frome is a Cambridge student recruited by her professor as a domestic spy agent.
The novel is set in 1972 and the name “Sweet Tooth” represents the mission that Selena is tapped for.
